What happens on the day of the test and how does the test work?
Please ensure that you arrive on time for your test. The letter sent to you after you have made a test booking will specify your booking time and what information you will be required to provide the department.
The first part of your test appointment includes a registration process conducted in English which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please make sure you bring all relevant documents with you to the test centre, as officers from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship will need to verify your identity and take a photograph of you before you are able to sit the test.
Child care facilities are not available at the test centres, so please make sure you make alternative arrangement for child care.
