Australia's Local Hero

Graeme Drew is Australia’s Local Hero 2009. A co-founder of the Bremer Bay SES, Graeme and his boat have always been available in times of need, searching for lost or disabled vessels or for those who have drowned while fishing, even long after official searches have ended. Graeme epitomises the great Australian tradition of working to make our local communities a better place.
