For teachers
This resource material has been developed to assist you and your students to celebrate Australian Citizenship Day and has been designed to complement other Australian citizenship education resources you may already be using in the classroom.
These resources will encourage young Australians to think about the importance of Australian citizenship, including the responsibilities and privileges of being an Australian citizen.
Background information on Australian citizenship and Australian Citizenship Day can be found in both the primary and secondary 'For students' sections of this website, along with some engaging interactive fun.
Teaching resources below have been divided into primary and secondary sections and include:
