Revised citizenship test resource book

The revised citizenship test resource book, Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, contains all the information you need to prepare for the new citizenship test which began on 19 October 2009.

The revised resource book has been written by professional educators in plain English and is divided into testable and non-testable sections to make the information required to pass the test easier to identify.

The testable section of the resource book is based on the Australian Citizenship Pledge that new Australians make when becoming citizens. Topics include Australia’s democratic beliefs, laws and government as well as the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship.

The non-testable section contains interesting and useful information about Australia’s history, culture, sport and notable Australians.
