Where the Minister sends a representative to attend the citizenship ceremony, it is the role of the Minister's representative to read the Minister's message.
Government caretaker provisions have been extended pending a clear outcome of the 2010 federal election. The current Minister's message (34KB PDF) should continue to be read at citizenship ceremonies until further notice.
