Completing your online application

There are four steps to the online application process, detailed in the table below:

Fill in an online application.

Note: You will need your passport and credit card. It is also useful to know your date of first arrival in Australia and the date on which you became a permanent resident.

You can include your children under 16 with your online application.

3 Pay the application fee.

4 Printout and complete the statutory declaration and obtain a correctly endorsed photo.

After you have applied

Once you have completed your online application and paid the fee, you will see a message on the screen advising you to call the Citizenship Information Line during business hours to make an appointment for the interview
